Which type do I choose?
A Direct Thermal printer should be used where the label isn’t subjected to extreme conditions or is of a temporary nature. Product labelling or patient wristbands are ideal applications.
A Thermal Transfer printer is useful for permanent label applications or labelling devices or products that are subjected to extremes of cold, heat, chemicals or wear and tear such as autoclaves or freezers etc.
